Outstanding adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills, and commitment to serving underserved populations make professionals excel in this setting. These skills are essential for providing high-quality care in areas with critical physician shortages while maintaining regulatory compliance.

What is a J1 waiver?

A J1 Waiver job is a position that allows a foreign medical graduate on a J-1 visa to waive the two-year home residency requirement by working in a designated underserved area in the U.S. These jobs are typically in healthcare shortage areas and require a commitment of at least three years.
