Job description

Description:

We are searching for facility assessors with experience conducting Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) to join our team! As a facility assessor, you will perform inspections on large, complex, and diverse buildings, facilities, and utilities requiring expertise and knowledge in multiple areas of construction to identify, inventory, and assess the condition of individual facility asset systems and building components.


We are seeking qualified facility assessors in the following discipline areas:

  • Electrical (to include power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems).
  • Mechanical (to include HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems).
  • Civil, Structural, and Architectural.
  • Building management systems and industrial control systems.
  • Cost estimating using RSMeans cost estimating system (no travel required).
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience performing FCAs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing facilities maintenance (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing), construction, or building inspections.
  • Familiarity with various types of data analysis and reporting.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical aptitude.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on an integrated project team.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and integrated work management systems (IWMS).
  • Proficiency in using MS products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • 50-75% travel.


Preferred Skills or Experience

  • Experience with CMMS, such as Maximo, Maintenance Connection, or MaintainX.
  • Experience with IWMS, such as SAP, Tririga, or FMS Workplace.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline and three to 10 years of experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.



Security Clearance:

The position requires an active government clearance, such as:

  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance.
  • Department of Energy Q security clearance.
  • State Department and Department of Homeland Security Public Trust Background Investigation (BI).


Background Check and Screenings

A pre-employment drug screening and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verification is required.
