Job description

Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced IVF Coordinator - either a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for a full-time position on our team of professional clinicians. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform and prepare patients for their appointment. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30 pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm OR 8:00am - 4:30 pm. Weekend and holiday rotation is required - in Bryn Mawr

Location: Based in Bryn Mawr with coverage of our other offices in Havertown and West Chester,

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned fertility patients, providing compassionate guidance, education, and emotional support throughout their IVF treatment journey.
  • Coordinate individualized treatment cycles by scheduling appointments, monitoring timelines, and ensuring all required laboratory work, imaging, and procedures are completed according to physician protocols.
  • Educate patients on fertility medications, injection techniques, treatment instructions, and cycle expectations while reinforcing physician recommendations and answering routine clinical questions within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, embryologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), including patient communications, treatment plans, laboratory results, medication updates, and clinical instructions.
  • Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, proactively follow up on test results, coordinate medication refills and authorizations, and promptly communicate important updates to the clinical team.
  • Promote a welcoming, respectful, and patient-centered environment by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality reproductive healthcare.

Education and Experience: :

  • Licensed Practical Nurse, with a current license valid in Pennsylvania or Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Phlebotomy experience required; certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience required
  • Experience in Women’s Health or Fertility preferred
  • Strong keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential
