About This Opportunity
We are seeking a full time, experienced, and highly skilled Senior Embryologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform and oversee advanced assisted reproductive technology procedures while working closely with physicians, nurses, and laboratory leadership to optimize outcomes and uphold the highest standards of quality and patient safety. What You Will Do
  • Perform and oversee advanced ART procedures including oocyte handling, conventional insemination, ICSI, assisted hatching, embryo biopsy support, embryo culture, and embryo assessment
  • Monitor fertilization and embryo development, evaluate embryo quality, and support selection decisions in collaboration with physicians and laboratory leadership
  • Perform and oversee cryopreservation and thawing of oocytes, sperm, embryos, and reproductive tissue, maintaining accurate labeling, traceability, inventory control, and cryostorage records
  • Conduct daily quality control activities, verify equipment performance, monitor environmental conditions, and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Help coordinate daily laboratory workflow, prioritize cases, maintain supply readiness, and support scheduling and operational coverage including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records for all laboratory activities, patient specimens, outcomes, quality checks, and equipment logs
  • Train, mentor, and support junior embryologists and laboratory staff on techniques, quality standards, workflows, and competency expectations
  • Follow applicable regulatory, accreditation, safety, and ethical standards and support audits, inspections, and SOP updates
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff regarding laboratory findings, cycle progress, and case needs
  • Contribute to process improvement, validation activities, and implementation of new technologies and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For
Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Embryology, Reproductive Biology, Medical Technology, or a related life science field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a clinical embryology or IVF laboratory
  • Substantial hands-on experience with advanced ART procedures and cryopreservation
  • Demonstrated expertise in IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, embryo grading, specimen traceability, laboratory documentation, and quality systems
  • Proven ability to mentor staff, support training and competency development, and promote a collaborative and accountable laboratory environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively under time-sensitive conditions

Preferred:
  • Experience with embryo biopsy and PGT coordination
  • Quality improvement, accreditation, or inspection readiness experience
  • Laboratory validation activities

Schedule and Work Environment
This position is based in a fast-paced, highly specialized laboratory setting that requires precision, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, rotating on-call coverage, and flexibility based on patient treatment cycles and laboratory needs.
