Per Diem Registered Nurse, Surgical Center Location: Bedford, NH Coverage: Staff must be available for a minimum of two shifts per month. Coverage is primarily needed during surgery week, which occurs one week each month, Monday through Friday, during egg retrievals. Shifts begin at 7:00 a.m. and end after the last case is completed. Each day averages 5-9 cases, with each case lasting approximately 30 minutes. Additional hours may be available for embryo transfers scheduled outside of surgery week. Boston IVF is recruiting an experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support our surgical center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary nursing care to patients undergoing advanced reproductive technology (ART) and ovulation induction (O.I.), following them through their journey including O.R./PACU area
  • Work in conjunction with other nurses, medical assistants, advanced practice providers, physicians, laboratory personnel, O.R./PACU, administrative assistants and receptionists to ensure the smooth daily flow of the clinical practice.
  • Job Requirements and Skills:
  • O.R./PACU experience preferred
  • Infertility practice background a strong plus
  • Nursing Diploma and current ME License
  • BLS- Required
