Through our national network of premier fertility centers—including Ovation Fertility—we combine clinical expertise, scientific innovation, and compassionate care. The work we do building families offers purpose, challenge, and personal reward—and we’re just getting started.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Ovation Fertility in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the ability to work approximately 6 weekends and 2 holidays per year

This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

  • Maintain flexibility for working hours as IVF processes are time-dependent; may include some weekend work in extreme needs
  • Support embryologists with all aspects of IVF processes as directed by the Senior Embryologists
  • Assist with andrology procedures such as IUI preparation and semen analysis, as well as assist with shipping and receiving of frozen specimens
  • Assist with maintaining integrity of media, collection, and semen processing data
  • Record and communicate oocyte collection, and maintain embryo production data records
  • Maintain accurate labeling and traceability of media and embryo production
  • Assist with lab maintenance; sanitize working areas and equipment; follow production inventory and LN2 management protocols; maintain processing equipment, glassware and plastic dishes and processing areas
  • Support patient care by answering and directing phone calls, organizing and scheduling appointments, organizing and coordinating meetings, and maintaining filing systems
  • Perform general office duties and all other tasks as requested by physicians, director and embryologists

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in a Life Science focus area preferred
  • Prior laboratory experience preferred
  • Experience in a medical office facility and using EMR systems is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities, communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good research skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times
