SAIC is seeking anEngineer Technician IV for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.
This position is hybrid and the candidate must live within an hour of Pascagoula, MS.
This position is contingent upon award news, anticipated in Fall 2026.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the planning, development, and execution of stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution for shipboard C5ISR systems.
- Utilizes specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing.
- Works with the multidisciplinary technical team supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of C5ISR systems.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts using Autocad and PDF formats to perform testing, checkout and trouble shooting functions.
- Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- AA Degree in related discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and eight (8) years of related experience with relevant certification
- Three (3) years or more relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System
- Familiar with utilizing C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance on first day of employment.
Must have experience in one of the three C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR Shipboard Systems:
- Navigation Data Distribution System (NDDS) with Gyrocompass or Speed Log experience
- OR Sonar Mission System experience
- OR Seawatch and Moriah experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures.
- Prior experience utilizing Autocad.
- Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CSSIP, Network+, A+ or equivalent.
