Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring EPIC proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience, working nights on a 13-week contract.

Details
  • Position is part of a PCU Float Pool, with potential to float to any stepdown or PCU area within the medical center
  • May be required to float to other campuses, including Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd
  • Floating may occur within units of equivalent or lower acuity
  • Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Telemetry monitoring is required in this role
  • IV insertion skills are required
Requirements
  • Active RN license in Ohio or a Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information
  • Provide progressive care nursing across multiple stepdown and PCU areas as part of a float pool model
  • All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
  • No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
  • Parking options are available for agency staff through CampusParc at varying price points, including garage and surface lot access with shuttle service
