Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
  • Perform EKGs, IV insertion, and medication administration
  • Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology technicians, and security personnel
  • Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Meditech EMR
  • Maintain a positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach in a fast-paced emergency environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current ENPC certification
  • Current PALS certification and NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience as an ER Charge RN
  • Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department locations
  • Familiarity with GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
