Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Free-Standing ED position requiring current acute care ED experience and the ability to work mid-shift/night shift.

Details
  • Dergency Department at an 11-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
  • Staffing includes 2 RNs around the clock, plus dedicated paramedic, MD, radiology tech, and security coverage
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Utilizes GE monitors and Baxter pumps
  • Meditech EMR system
  • Variable shift schedule with a 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift time
  • Must be able to work mid-shift and night shift assignments
  • Floating between ED departments preferred
Requirements
  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke, and PALS
  • CPI Blue Card certification required
  • TNCC certification required for ER placement
  • ER charge RN experience preferred
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Perform EKGs, IV insertion, and medication administration
  • Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
  • Work within a team-oriented environment alongside RNs, paramedics, physicians, and support staff
  • Ideal candidates are positive, flexible, and strong team players
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
