Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Perform EKGs, IV insertion, and medication administration
- Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology technicians, and security personnel
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Meditech EMR
- Maintain a positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ENPC certification
- Current PALS certification and NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Experience as an ER Charge RN
- Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department locations
- Familiarity with GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
- Work within a well-staffed, 11-bed freestanding emergency department supported by RNs, a paramedic, physician, radiology tech, and security around the clock
- Join a team equipped with current technology including GE monitors and Baxter pumps in a competitive travel nursing market with strong assignment support
