What is an IV drip nurse?

IV drip nurses, also known as infusion nurses, are registered nurses who specialize in administering medications, fluids, or nutrients directly into a patient's bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line. Their responsibilities include inserting IV lines, monitoring patients during infusions, ensuring sterility and safety, and managing any potential side effects or complications. They work in hospitals, clinics, and specialized infusion centers, and may also educate patients about the procedure and aftercare. IV drip nurses play a crucial role in patient care by delivering treatments efficiently and safely.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an IV drip nurse?

To thrive as an IV Drip Nurse, you need strong venipuncture skills, knowledge of intravenous therapy, and a current nursing license (RN or LPN). Familiarity with infusion pumps, IV administration sets, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is typically required. Outstanding attention to detail, patient communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are vital soft skills. These abilities ensure safe, effective IV therapy administration and positive patient outcomes in clinical or outpatient settings.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals administering IV drips, and how can they be managed effectively?

Professionals administering IV drips often encounter challenges such as finding suitable veins, preventing infections, and managing patient discomfort or anxiety. Effective management includes thorough patient assessment, using proper aseptic techniques, and maintaining clear communication with patients to explain the procedure and address concerns. Collaboration with colleagues, ongoing training, and staying updated on best practices also help ensure safe and efficient IV therapy administration.

RN - IV & NAD+ Clinician - Restore Hyper Wellness (Seminole/Clearwater)
Why Restore?
If you chose nursing because you wanted to help people feel better - not because you wanted to manage a twelve-patient load under fluorescent lights - this is worth reading.
At Restore Hyper Wellness, you'll spend your shifts doing exactly what you trained for: assessing clients, administering IV therapy and NAD+ protocols, and making confident clinical recommendations that actually move the needle on how someone feels. No emergency admissions. No six hours of charting. No patients who don't want to be there. Every person who walks through our door chose to come - and chose to invest in their health.
This role is for someone who has already done the work of understanding why preventative wellness matters - not someone curious to find out. If you live the wellness lifestyle, believe in what IV therapy and NAD+ do at a biological level, and want a clinical environment where your expertise and your convictions are both put to use, we'd like to meet you.
This is a part-time role rotating between our Seminole and Clearwater studios - clinical work that fits around your life, with a team that values your point of view and clients grateful for it.
What you'll do
Administer IV Drip Therapy and NAD+ protocols with confidence and clinical precision
  • Conduct wellness consultations and make personalized protocol recommendations based on each client's health history and goals - you have a clinical point of view and you share it
  • Educate clients on the clinical rationale behind their protocol - what each service does, why the combination matters, and what results to expect
  • Conduct clinical follow-ups to assess response, adjust protocols, and deepen each client's commitment to their wellness plan
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and fully compliant clinical environment across both studios
  • Collaborate with the studio team to deliver a seamless experience from consultation through treatment
What we offer
  • $34-$36/hr
  • Part-time schedule rotating between Seminole and Clearwater
  • Performance bonuses
  • Complimentary access to core Restore services - Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, and Compression
  • Significant discounts on IV Drip Therapy, NAD+, and medical services - roughly $10,000 in annual service value for regular users
  • A clinical environment where you have time to actually talk to your clients and make a real difference in how they feel
What we're looking for
  • Active Florida RN license (required)
  • Current BLS certification (required)
  • 2+ years of IV experience - a confident, skilled stick who can manage a busy floor without stress
  • Personal investment in preventative wellness and longevity medicine - you already use these therapies and believe in them, and it shows
  • Comfortable making confident, opinionated clinical recommendations - you listen, you assess, and you tell clients what you think they need, because that's what actually helps them
  • Consistent work history that reflects genuine commitment, not a pattern of trying new things
  • Availability to work some weekends and rotate between both studios

Who thrives here
You're clinically excellent and you know it. You're tired of environments where that expertise gets buried under administrative load. You want to spend your shift actually talking to people, understanding their health, and administering treatments you believe in - because you use them yourself.
You're not looking for a sales job. But you're also not someone who hands a client a menu and asks what they'd like to try. When a client comes in describing chronic fatigue, poor sleep, and inflammation, you don't shrug and say "what sounds good to you?" You have a point of view, you back it with science, and you deliver it with confidence - because that's what actually helps them.
If that's how you practice nursing, we want to talk to you.
Compensation: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
