Job description

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Emergency Medicine– Rotating– (IU Health Methodist Hospital)

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistantto join our fast-paced and supportiveEmergency Medicine team atIU Health MethodistHospital inIndianapolis, Indiana!



  • Full-time, Rotating

  • 138 hoursper month; quarterly scheduling allowing for flexibility month-to-month

  • Weekend and holiday rotation

  • No call

  • 100% outpatient- ED and Observation Unit


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independentlyin different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.

  • Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases

  • Perform bedside ER procedures


Qualifications:

  • FNPor PA certifications required

  • Emergency Medicine APP experience required

IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals.
