Job description

Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated dental hygienist, available for either full-time or part-time positions. The ideal candidate should be skilled, personable, self-driven, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional care to our patients. We ensure generous appointment durations, provide scrubs, and have instruments professionally maintained.


Key Responsibilities

  • Update patient medical histories and record blood pressure measurements.
  • Maintain and revise dental charts to accurately reflect the current status of patients.
  • Acquire and evaluate radiographs, intraoral images, and Itero scans as necessary.
  • Conduct screenings for periodontal health, including probing depths, recession, and mobility; document and relay findings.
  • Evaluate caries risk and suggest preventive care strategies.
  • Perform oral cancer screenings.
  • Detect potential dental problems such as failing restorations, decay, or open contacts.
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and the impact of malocclusion on dental health.
  • Administer dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments.
  • Apply fluoride treatments and place dental sealants.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to create tailored treatment plans.
  • Schedule follow-up care appointments for patients.
  • Assist with the cleaning and preparation of treatment rooms when possible.
  • Provide support in other areas of the practice as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Valid Dental Hygiene License in Ohio.
