Our line cooks apply their skills, ideally with a background in fine dining, to follow recipes and cooking instructions to prepare high quality, consistent, well-presented, and delicious dishes to our customers.

  • Line Cooks prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, grills, fryers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Line Cooks follow recipe specifications to cook, prepare all food items for service, and portion food products according to standard portion sizes and plating guidelines.
  • Line Cooks assume 100% responsibility for the fine dining quality of products served.

Required skills and qualifications to be a Line Cook with Alta Via Market Square:

  • 2 years of experience in food preparation and cooking, fine dining preferred
  • Able to follow written recipes and supervisor instructions
