JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Team member oftheInformation Technology (IT)departmentata Manufacturing Plant in the Automotive industry.Provideservices and supportto Plant Operations maximizing availability,performanceand efficiency.Focus oncost effective solutions with acontinuous improvementmindset.

Reporting Relationships

  • Direct report to theITManager.

Roles & Responsibilities

IT Management

  • Consult with plant management on continuous improvementideas and fulfill requests.

  • Keyteammemberof projects to deliver new initiatives and/or service improvements.

  • Assistwithproblem management resolution and permanent corrective actions.

  • Interface withinternal and external Adient Customers.

  • SupportIT tasks related to launches and communicating updatesatreadiness reviews.

  • Other duties as assigned by management

IT Infrastructure&Applications

  • Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including but not limited to the following:

  • Perform Level 1, incident management,support for hardware, communications, networking,softwareand shop-floor systems ran at the manufacturing facility.Escalate tonextlevel support teamsif applicable.

  • Monitor, event managementand administration of local IT Infrastructure.

  • Adhering to the processes and standards of the company.

  • Provideaccess to IT services whilecomplying withSecurity and Vulnerability standards.

  • Ensure system backups are current and can be restored.

  • Schedule and coordinate hardware and infrastructure installation with Corporate and 3rdparty suppliers.

  • Contribute tomanagingKey and Operational Metrics

  • Maintaindocumentation of IT Services, Equipment and Procedures

Experience & Skills

Minimum Required:

  • IT Analyst =2+years IT related experience.

  • Communication, analytical, projectmanagement,and problem-solving skills.

  • Supportmultiple work streams.

  • A desire tohave broad responsibilities andwork in fast paced environment.

  • Windows administrative knowledge(Servers and PCs)

  • Experience with Networking Infrastructure andArchitecture

AdditionalDesired:

  • Experience in amanufacturingenvironment, ideally automotive industry.

  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES)experience.

  • Basicdatabaseknowledgeand reportwriting skills.

Education & Training

Required:

  • Bachelors'Degree inIT.

  • OrAssociates/Technical DegreeinITrelatedfield ofstudywith2+ yearsofexperience or additional equivalent experience.

Desired:

  • Technical Certifications.

  • Continuous Improvement training.

Other Requirements

  • 7x24 on-call availability for critical plant operation system support

  • Willingness to workovertimeand weekends

  • This role partners closely with productionandengineering teams to ensure systems are configured to supportaccurateMODAPTS (Modular Arrangement of Predetermined Time Standards) data collection, analysis, and reporting for operational efficiency.

This Position is for 2nd Shift: (3:30pm-12am) However, must be flexible.

Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000
