This role will serve as the subject matter expert for IT vendor management and ensure MTY procures the right IT products and services at the right value, with appropriate commercial, legal, and risk considerations.

The IT Vendor Management Lead will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for IT spend areas such as hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, professional services, and enterprise licensing. • Coordinate with IT, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure commercial terms, technical requirements, and service levels are properly reviewed and documented.
  • Conduct market reviews, pricing benchmarks, vendor comparisons, and competitive sourcing activities to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, reduce overlapping products and services, improve commercial terms, and avoid unnecessary technology costs.
  • Lead license-optimization activities with application owners and technical administrators, including reclamation, right-sizing, consolidation, co-termination, and cancellation.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, including performance reviews, issue resolution, supplier scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or category management, with a proven focus on technology categories.
  • Deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software/SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and enterprise licensing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading sourcing events, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Analytical skills with proven experience in spend analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present recommendations and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and supplier discussions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multi-location, multi-brand, or North American organizations.
  • Professional certification such as CPSM or similar.
  • Bilingual English/French fluency.

Benefits (Subject to Change):
