Job description

The IT Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of IT projects by guiding technical teams, collaborating with business partners, evaluating project phases, and monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage Information Technology (IT) projects, including defining project stages and evaluating business and technical impacts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead project planning sessions and manage a portfolio of projects from initiation through completion
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and solutions
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), task tracking, milestones, timelines, completion estimates, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, scope, quality standards, and cost targets
  • Inspect projects for quality assurance while identifying risks, managing changes, and developing mitigation or contingency plans
  • Oversee all project documentation and communications, including objectives, statements of work, technologies and systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
  • Prepare status reports and participate in project reviews with stakeholders and leadership, while continuously improving processes, tools, templates, and project management practices

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Project and program management methodologies and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Conflict resolution experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration
  • Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, including iterative delivery and cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing technology projects or programs
  • Ability to optimize processes and improve project management practices
