The Challenge 

As OneTrust continues to scale its global pre-sales organization, we need an innovative and execution-focused Field Enablement Manager to drive the enablement strategy for our global Sales Engineering team. 

This role will play a critical part in developing the programs, tools, and learning experiences that enable Sales Engineers to deliver world-class discovery, technical validation, demos, and business value conversations across the customer journey. 

Your Mission 

Design and deliver a globally consistent, regionally relevant enablement strategy that increases Sales Engineer productivity, strengthens technical and business acumen, and improves the quality and consistency of customer-facing technical engagements. 

This person will own enablement across onboarding, continuous learning, product readiness, and professional development for Sales Engineers, while partnering closely with Sales Engineering leadership, Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Learning & Development to accelerate readiness and field impact. 

You Are 

  • A builder and doer who can own programs end-to-end, from strategy through execution. 
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to tailor content across geographies, segments, and levels of technical expertise. 
  • Passionate about helping pre-sales talent grow into exceptional customer-facing technical advisors. 
  • Proficient in sales methodology, discovery frameworks, demo excellence, technical storytelling, and value-based selling. 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment with multiple stakeholders. 

About the Role 

  • Own the global enablement strategy for Sales Engineers across regions, ensuring alignment with OneTrust sales processes, messaging, product priorities, and go-to-market motions. 
  • Design and manage a role-based onboarding program for new Sales Engineers that accelerates ramp in product knowledge, technical discovery, demo delivery, competitive positioning, and internal systems fluency. 
  • Develop and deliver learning paths for Sales Engineers focused on customer discovery, technical qualification, value articulation, executive communication, solution mapping, proof-of-value support, and rigorous use of Salesforce and supporting tools. 
  • Partner with Sales Engineering leadership to identify skill gaps across teams and levels, then build targeted programs to improve performance and readiness. 
  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Product Enablement to operationalize product launches and ongoing product readiness for the field. 
  • Build scalable enablement assets such as demo standards, talk tracks, certifications, playbooks, competitive guidance, and self-paced learning resources. 
  • Support the development of frontline Sales Engineering leaders by creating manager enablement resources that reinforce coaching, inspection, and skill development. 
  • Continuously innovate enablement delivery formats across live training, workshops, certifications, peer learning, office hours, and on-demand content. 
  • Measure enablement impact using performance data, behavioral KPIs, field feedback, and leadership input to iterate and improve programs. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Enablement to ensure consistent execution across the broader go-to-market organization. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5+ years in Sales Enablement, Sales Engineering Enablement, Sales Engineering leadership, Solutions Consulting, or related Learning & Development roles supporting pre-sales or commercial sales functions. 
  • Experience building and executing global enablement programs with regional alignment. 
  • Deep understanding of pre-sales workflows, including technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, objection handling, and evaluation support. 
  • Strong familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and how Sales Engineers reinforce qualification, value creation, and deal progression. 
  • Experience partnering with Product and Product Marketing to translate product strategy into field-ready learning and assets. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and enablement tools such as LMS/CMS platforms, conversation intelligence, content management systems, and sales engagement or demo tools. 
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities. 
  • High EQ, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proactive, accountable work ethic. 
  • Travel up to 25% required for the position, domestic and international.
