The Senior IT Engineer manages and supports Resonetics' Microsoft-based hybrid infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing systems across corporate and manufacturing environments. This role takes ownership of core infrastructure operations and plays a key role in cross-site infrastructure integrations, security enhancements, and overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure, identity, collaboration, cloud, and telecommunications platforms.
  • Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and endpoint management activities.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, system performance, and storage issues to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Administer and maintain virtualization, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), and storage environments.
  • Contribute to larger infrastructure projects and lead small to mid-size initiatives, including infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, and M&A integration activities.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, patching, and configuration management tools.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure and identity-related incidents across multiple sites.
  • Manage and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Security and Operations teams to maintain secure and compliant IT/OT environments, including network segmentation and system hardening.
  • Partner with other engineers and vendors during site integrations, contributing to migration planning and validation testing.
  • Develop accurate technical documentation, system diagrams, and standard operating procedures to support operational continuity.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and documentation standards are maintained to ensure continuity across global IT operations.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft infrastructure across multiple sites or business units.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise infrastructure, cloud, identity, and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience independently leading small to mid-size infrastructure initiatives such as cloud migrations, endpoint management deployments, or M&A integrations.
  • Proficiency administering enterprise infrastructure, cloud, identity, and collaboration technologies.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Experience with endpoint management and patch management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing complex infrastructure and identity issues.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance practices, including system hardening and access control management.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional IT, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and remediation technologies (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or similar tools).
  • Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments and manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SCADA).
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or MCSE.

Physical Demands
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing sites as needed (approximately 10-15%).
  • Flexibility to work across time zones to support global teams and vendors.

Compensation
  • The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $78,000.00-$124,000.00.
