Job Title: IT Security Analyst

Reports to: Manager, IT Security

Location: On-site, Oklahoma City, OK

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm


About the role: The IT Security Analyst is responsible for the protection of the data and infrastructure utilized by CFS Brands and supported facilities. This position will function as the initial point of contact for the acknowledgment and investigation of cyber security alerts and incidents. This includes being the primary cyber security team member responsible for managing the security ticket queue, the team member responsible for creating and updating all cyber security standard operating procedures for handling each type of alert and incident, and this role will be responsible for managing the cyber security server patch management process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Responsible for assigned security operations incidents and providing technical assistance when necessary.
  • Evaluates existing systems and providing technical direction to customers.
  • Maintains and manages CFS Brands security systems and procedures to improve utilization or propose revision(s) of infrastructure operations.
  • Establishes processes and the execution of configuration, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and security management tools.
  • Communicates effectively with various personnel including staff, vendors, and department leadership to exchange information concerning security.
  • Applies a security framework and ensures compliance from the business, vendors, and contractors.
  • Represents security during any Acquisition and Divestiture activity.
  • Recommends enhancements to the security infrastructure.
  • Monitors compliance with applicable internal and external security and data protection policies.
  • Manages the security ticket queue and act as the initial security team member to investigate and/or escalate alerts and incidents.
  • Administration of FortiSiem, EDR, XDR, Mimecast, KnowB4, and O365 Security and Compliance or similar tools.
  • Up to 20% travel to local sites and occasionally to remote sites to support corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned.

Education and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 or more years of experience in a similar role
  • CompTIA Security+ training required
  • O365 Administration preferred
  • Route/Switch training preferred
  • SIEM Administration preferred
  • Mimecast Administration preferred
  • KnowB4 Administration preferred
  • 2-3 years of increasing responsibility in supporting/managing complex IT systems
  • 2-3 years of experience with security information systems is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users in a friendly, professional manner
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiar with writing and updating policies

Travel Required:

  • Up to 20% travel to support multiple operating locations and corporate initiatives across the US and Mexico, with potential travel to Europe
