Job Description

Information Technology (IT) Supervisor

Be responsible for assisting the resort to maintain the integrity of all IT related systems and ensuring that all IT related hardware and software at the hotel are functioning properly.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide IT Support to Hotel staff and Guests
  • To ensure that all computer related software and hardware are working smoothly to support daily hotel operation.
  • Maintain inventory of all hardware and software.
  • Ensuring critical systems, specifically guest HSIA network, PMS, and POS working properly at all times
  • Establishing and maintaining user procedures and hardware familiarization
  • Assisting individual departments with setting up computer and training when needed
  • Establishing and maintaining system security procedures consistent with control requirements and corporate policy.
  • Establishing and maintaining backup procedures for all systems to ensure protection from loss of data and ensuring backups being carried out in accordance with corporate and local policies
  • Conducting self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all the system from IT equipment (such as Servers, Network Switches, printer, etc.)
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by the IT Director
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Excellent organizational, follow-through and communication skills
  • Exceptional problem resolution abilities
  • Must be committed to team work and achieving team success
  • Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of Cisco Networking Equipment and familiar with iOS commands
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networks
  • Understanding of Ethernet cabling standards
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT
  • Diploma or Degree in information Technology or relevant certificates preferred

Hourly Rate: $42.54 USD

Must be available weekends.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
