The Opportunity:

As IT Project Manager, you will report to the Infrastructure and Operations Team Lead to translate complex technical information into clear business impacts, establish accountability across teams, and provide leaders with the information needed to make informed decisions. Your background combines strong project leadership, technology fluency, executive communication, and organizational skills. You will partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, senior leaders, and executives to deliver complex technology projects while providing visibility into portfolio health, priorities, risks, dependencies, resources, and performance. 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain an integrated view of the technology portfolio, including project status, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, priorities, and key decisions.
  • Consolidate project and workstream information into clear, executive-level reporting for technology leadership, executives, and steering committees.
  • Prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings and portfolio reviews, ensuring discussions focus on key risks, decisions, priorities, and actions.
  • Identify and communicate cross-project risks, dependencies, resource conflicts, and schedule impacts.
  • Partner with technology and business leaders on portfolio prioritization, sequencing, capacity, and organizational impact.
  • Track portfolio metrics and provide insight into delivery trends, performance, and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Ensure portfolio information remains accurate and current while continuously improving governance and reporting practices without creating unnecessary administrative overhead.
  • Lead assigned technology projects from initiation and planning through execution, implementation, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and decision logs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across areas such as infrastructure, operations, security, data, architecture, collaboration, and other technical disciplines.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives align with business needs, project objectives, and organizational priorities.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, risk discussions, and decision-making forums.
  • Proactively identify and drive resolution of risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles while maintaining accountability for project commitments.
  • Manage scope, schedule, priorities, resources, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining project momentum.
  • Translate technical concepts, challenges, and tradeoffs into clear business impacts, decisions, and actions.
  • Provide concise project status reporting covering accomplishments, upcoming milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and escalation needs.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, program management, or related technology delivery roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects involving multiple technical teams.
  • Experience managing or coordinating a technology project portfolio and producing consolidated portfolio reporting.
  • Experience preparing materials for and presenting to executive leadership and steering committees.
  • Strong understanding of project and portfolio management principles, governance, risk management, dependency management, and prioritization.
  • Experience with both Agile and traditional/Waterfall delivery approaches and the ability to apply the appropriate methodology based on the initiative.
  • Experience with project and portfolio management tools and executive reporting or dashboard solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

  • $120,000 - $155,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
