  • Identify significant project risks early and drive mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Manage conflicts and competing priorities across project teams and stakeholder organizations.

  • Support projects involving regulatory commitments, compliance requirements, or other high-visibility business obligations.

  • Prepare and deliver project updates, recommendations, and decision materials to senior executives and leadership.

  • Manage external partners and formal project relationships where applicable.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced Project Managers.

  • Maintain project documentation and governance deliverables in accordance with enterprise PMO standards.

The Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, project controls, engineering, construction, or closely related project delivery disciplines.

  • PMP certification in active standing.

  • Significant experience independently managing complex enterprise IT projects.

  • Experience leading projects across the full lifecycle from planning and initiation through implementation and closeout.

  • Demonstrated responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, risk, issues, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder management.

  • Experience coordinating across multiple business and technical organizations.

  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting project status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and drive decisions across complex project teams.

  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a high-visibility environment.

  • Must be local and available to commute to the office occasionally based on project and team needs.

You'll Stand Out If You Have
  • Direct experience leading Meter-to-Cash technology initiatives within an electric or gas utility.

  • Experience with utility metering, billing, customer information, revenue, or related enterprise systems.
