Job description

Purpose and Impact:Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking an IT Program Manager to manage this classified Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) program within the negotiated level of effort, including overall program costs. The PM will be required to provide accurate and timely reports, conduct program management reviews, hold weekly meetings, maintain schedules and technical documentation, and ensure exceptional performance while maintaining positive customer relations.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of contract execution.

  • Responding to and coordinating closely with the United States Government to ensure effective contract management.

  • Direct supervision and leadership of up to 20 employees, including Deputy PM, Site Leads, Network Engineers, WIDS Specialists, Installation Engineers, and functional support (Finance, GSCM, etc.)

  • Management of corporate relationships with WIDS vendors/support.

  • Responsible for managing shift schedules and arranging for backfill during PTO/unplanned absences.

  • Leverage opportunities for new business development and seek to expand within current customer base.

  • Responsible for program budgets and costs, program funding, and program financial reporting. Keep expenses and costs within negotiated parameters.

  • Improve cost effectiveness of program.

  • Develop procedures to increase performance by implementing sound quality management processes.

  • Monitor program's progress against the contract and organizational goals and objectives and ensure they are consistently and adequately met.

  • Provide operational oversight.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the COR and participate in regular COR meetings.

  • Drive customer satisfaction with on-time delivery, exceptional performance, and 100% accountability.

  • Address contractual and technical programmatic issues.

  • Serve as program SME for expert guidance on which projects and procurements are the most critical and most time-sensitive.

  • Attend customer meetings to discuss program and contractual issues.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
  • Working/active knowledge of Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems and TSCM capabilities.

  • Current IAM Level III certification, as referenced in ND 50-05 or replacement.

  • Current PMP certification.

  • Ability to travel worldwide.

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience:
  • 10 years of experience managing personnel

  • (Bachelors Degree + 8-10 years experience); (Masters Degree + 6-8 years experience); (PhD + 3-5 years experience)

  • Seven (7) years of experience managing personnel across multiple functional areas and a full range of contract and finance support functions.

  • Seven (7) years of experience in technical project management.

Required Certifications:
  • Current IAM Level III certification, as referenced in ND 50-05 or replacement.

  • Current PMP certification.

Preferred Qualifications: Current CISSP certification.
Compensation Details:
215,000 - $230,000
