How does an IT OT Engineer typically collaborate with both IT and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of technologies?

An IT OT Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) environments. They often work closely with IT professionals to manage network security and data flow, while also engaging with operations teams to understand the requirements and constraints of industrial systems. Effective communication and a solid understanding of both IT and OT systems are key to successful collaboration in this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an IT Operations Engineer, and why are they important?
