Job description

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Release Management, Change Management, and Production Support within the Financial Services or Risk Management domain.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage application releases across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Lead release planning, scheduling, deployment, and post-release activities.
  • Ensure adherence to release governance, change management, and production deployment processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver releases with minimal business disruption.
  • Monitor release readiness, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track release progress, resolve deployment issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage release documentation, deployment schedules, and change records.
  • Support production releases and coordinate issue resolution during deployments.
  • Develop release metrics and dashboards to improve release quality and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvements to release management processes and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, or Production Support.
  • Experience working in the Financial Services or Risk Management industry.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management and production deployment processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience coordinating releases across multiple teams and environments.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale software releases in Agile or hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and release governance.
  • Experience with release reporting, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications in ITIL, Agile, Scrum, or Project Management are a plus.
