Job description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This role is fully onsite at a client location, serving as the primary technical resource and trusted advisor for day-to-day IT operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, resolving issues, and ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys owning technical environments end-to-end. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide onsite technical support for desktops, servers, network infrastructure, and cloud services 
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for the client, delivering high-quality service and communication 
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues 
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related environments 
  • Perform system updates, patching, and preventative maintenance 
  • Support security best practices, including endpoint protection and access controls 
  • Collaborate with internal MSP teams for escalations and project work 
  • Document systems, configurations, and support activities 

Qualifications 

  • 5–7 years of professional IT experience, preferably in an MSP or client-facing environment 
  • Strong experience with: 
  • Windows Server and desktop environments 
  • Microsoft 365 / Azure AD 
  • Networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs) 
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities onsite
