Job Overview
Job Title: Network Professional
Job Location: Hill AFB, UT
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is actively looking for qualified professionals for current and future opportunities across multiple Network Operation Centers (NOC's). This requisition is intended for sourcing purposes and to identify candidates for current and future openings. Positions are contingent on customer requirements, and organizational needs. Qualified applicants may be contacted as opportunities become available that align with their background and experience. This position is part of a pipeline, meaning it's not currently open but may become available in the near future. Responsibilities
The selected candidate's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide technical, operational, or programmatic support within assigned functional area
  • Install, configure, maintain, and/or troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper networks
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security
  • Support implementation of new technologies and system enhancements
  • Analyze and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to support mission requirements
  • Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standards, and security requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT networking
  • Cisco Command line experience
  • Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline Certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent)
  • Experience with network monitoring tools
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualification
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, etc.)
  • Experience supporting DoD or government environments
  • Juniper command line experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role or operational environment

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
