Arconic, a global leader in lightweight multi-material solutions for the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, is seeking a motivated IT OT Deskside Technician II for its Lancaster, PA facility.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, customer-focused IT support professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills. The Deskside Technician will provide direct, on-site technical support to end users in a manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Provide deskside technical support for end users (hardware, software, network, and printers).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, networking, and file shares.
Support and maintain various brands of printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
Manage user accounts through Microsoft Active Directory.
Work within ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident and request management.
Assist with computer asset tracking and equipment moves/installations.
Provide VoIP phone system support (setup, troubleshooting).
Ensure compliance with IT security and company standards.
Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users.
Perform lifting and setup of computer and electronic equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Be available for occasional overtime or off-hour work when required.
3+ years of deskside or IT support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Familiarity with Active Directory and ServiceNow (or other ticketing systems).
Basic understanding of networking, file shares, and printer support.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in IT preferred).
