POSITION: Cosmetology Professional Lab Assistant; Part-Time

LOCATION: Clarkesville, GA

DESCRIPTION: The Cosmetology Professional Lab Assistant assists instructors and students in a classroom environment that closely simulates the environment of business and industry.Major duties include:

  • Provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of cosmetology
  • Organize lab materials
  • Closely monitor student adherence to safety and sanitation practices
  • Demonstrate current and comprehensive knowledge of the cosmetology field
  • Assist lead instructors with classroom duties
  • Assess and evaluate with efficient maintenance of classroom records

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Cosmetology
  • Current Georgia Master Cosmetologist license
  • Three (3) years of work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Georgia Master Cosmetologist Teaching license
