What you'll do
  • Analyzes and researches material margins and discrepancies to ensure material reporting is accurate to support the overall profitability of each project;
  • Communicates with individuals at all levels of the organization to achieve compliance with material tracking processes and procedures;
  • Develops and implements quarterly count processes and adjusts them as necessary to ensure complete and accurate inventory level reporting;
  • Resolves problems concerning transportation, logistics systems or customer issues;
  • Interviews, selects, and trains inventory department personnel as required by location;
  • Manages the activities of inventory personnel and yard workers on an ongoing basis;
  • Plans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities;
  • Identifies, defines and monitors performance-related KPI metrics and holds department personnel accountable to achieving departmental standards;
  • Trains new employees in all aspects of the job including but not limited to material tracking and documentation as well as job-specific operation of utilized equipment;
  • Manages shipping instructions and provides routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated;
  • Manages inventory levels and assists with obsolete stock issues;
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need
  • Business Management or Degree preferred. Previous management experience. Minimum 5 years or a combination of both;
  • Strong negotiator and consensus builder;
  • Proven leadership in a cross functional team environment;
  • Proficient word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and cloud-based computer skills are required. Working knowledge of Google suite of applications strongly preferred;
  • Ability to apply project management concepts, and methodologies;
  • General understanding of Business Financial and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance;
  • Ability to safely operate forklift, telehandler and skid steer equipment;
  • Ability to travel throughout the Company footprint as required.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality;
  • Valid driver's license with favorable driving record required - Class A or B license preferred;
  • Travel throughout the Company footprint is required.
