Join Our Team as an Infrastructure IT Project Manager


Are you a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team. As the Infrastructure Project Manager, you will oversee the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of multiple, complex infrastructure technology projects. Your responsibilities will include driving project delivery, anticipating and addressing change requests, managing risks, and reporting project status.


Work Arrangement: Hybrid commute to Houston HQ (Must be local to the Houston Area)

6-12 Months Contract to Hire


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all aspects of projects to deliver approved business functionality.
  • Define and lead project scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risk, and budget.
  • Partner with stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed project schedules.
  • Managing IT infrastructure projects for new construction projects
  • Lead and execute approved projects through the lifecycle, including change requests, issue management, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Oversee project budget, including purchases and contracts, monthly spending, and resource forecasting.
  • Supervise purchase requisitions and onboard third-party resources to specific projects.
  • Manage remediation of risks and issues and evaluate project impact of scope change requests.
  • Develop and deliver presentations.
  • Mentor junior team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 6+ years of project management experience with a focus on IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of financial accounting and reporting for projects.
  • Experience in structured frameworks, methodologies, and operating models (e.g., ITIL, PMBOK, Agile).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), ITIL or equivalent certification desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet preferred.
