The consultant will organize project activities, capture and track action items, monitor progress, and help drive accountability across teams. Duration: potentially up to a year
What You Will Work On
The consultant will provide project management across various initiatives within the client's Corporate IT function, including employee lifecycle and access management, IT operations, office and infrastructure-related initiatives, and process improvement efforts that enhance visibility, accountability, and execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend project and stakeholder meetings, identify IT-owned action items, and drive follow-through to completion.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple cross-functional teams and track IT-owned deliverables and responsibilities.
  • Provide organizational structure and project governance for teams managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Consolidate project status updates and develop executive-level reporting, presentations, and summaries for leadership.
  • Utilize Jira for project tracking while helping stakeholders maintain visibility into higher-level program progress and dependencies.
  • Partner with stakeholders and the PMO to improve intake, prioritization, and governance processes associated with new technology and software requests.

What You Will Bring
Required:
  • Strong project management experience in cross-functional environments, coordinating complex initiatives within enterprise IT organizations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, fast-moving settings.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, action-item capture, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfort producing high-level status views / executive-friendly summaries from detailed work.
  • Collaborative style that works well with technical managers and existing contractors.

Strongly Preferred
  • Familiarity with corporate IT systems and processes (OKTA or identity access management, Salesforce a plus).
  • Experience supporting IT organizations during growth, migration, or transitions.
  • Experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools
