Qorvo's Technology Development Internships are offered in our Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Learn and conduct development activities for transistor design and fabrication.
  • Data collection via various lab bench tools.
  • Data analysis using software such as Data Brix, JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
  • Device Characterization and Lab Test measurements.
  • Experimental design and hands on validation.
  • One or more projects in areas involving Transistor Layout, Epi characterization, Device characterization, test plan development.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields, Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Semiconductor Device Physics and Electrical Engineering coursework and/or experience, including Epi exposure, Device Layout, and On-wafer measurement.
  • Experience with an electrical engineering tool (i.e. Circuit simulators, circuit layout software, TCAD, VNA/PNA, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) is preferred. 
  • Willingness for "hands on" engineering work in a lab environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ADS/AWR or circuit layout software. 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location) 

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
