TheLead Architect, Solution Engineering will be responsible for the business solution designs that includes working at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. He will also be responsible to manage small team of architects doing similar work across various functional groups.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage small team of architects performing solution engineering for the PBM organization
  • Provide solution design and guidance to ensure that the solution adheres to PSS Architecture Guiding Principles and standards while maximizing reuse of technology assets.
  • Actively lead and participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for the advancement of PBM technology while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscape
  • Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to App Dev, Technology Services and Solutions.
  • Lead and drive proofs-of-concept and technology deep-dives specific to partner technologies
  • Advise and assist App development teams with technical roadblocks such as performance challenges within a solution in key strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Technical skills in the following areas: Application and Integration Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Security and Automation along with a working knowledge of IT operations
  • In depth understanding of APIs and microservices-based architecture
  • Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern apps and legacy infrastructure leveraging streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
  • 5+ years in overall design/development experience
  • In Depth cloud platform knowledge with major public cloud platform including GCP, AZURE and AWS
  • 2+ years in hands-on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and hands-on expertise with automating processes


Preferred Qualifications

  • Health Care Industry domain knowledge
  • Experience in enterprise development toolsand methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOps


Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Master Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
