Job description


We are looking for skilled senior level developer with managerial experience to be responsible for leading a team of developers while providing critical thinking, innovative designs, problem solving, and solutions that fit Graphic Packaging International's vision of a Cloud First approach. The ideal candidate would come with experience developing in .NET, have experience or knowledge in PHP web development, and who also poses a wealth of knowledge working with Windows and Linux servers. The candidate should also have an understanding of the infrastructure requirements for hosting internal and public-facing applications with security at the forefront of any architectural design. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Azure PaaS & SaaS offering. We are looking for someone is willing and eager to learn and adapt to any technology that fits the need and loves troubleshooting & providing exceptional support to the business.

Technical Skills

  • Experience on self-hosted agents, deployment pools, deployment gates, parallel deployments, and Azure Board
  • Understanding of Azure SAAS, and PAAS offerings. AZ900 (Azure Fundamentals) Certificate preferred
  • Experience in container-oriented architecture using Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Proficiency using versioning tools like GitHub
  • Experience analyzing business need and finding a solution (problem solver)
  • Experience with UX and Design
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Servers
  • Experience with implementing SAML SSO OAuth Identity Services Providers configuration (CyberArk - preferred)
  • Excellent HTML, CSS (3) and CSS frameworks knowledge
  • Experience with unit testing, especially xUnit for .NET Core with TDD approach.
  • Experience in contemporary JavaScript / TypeScript (ES2015), Angular (9 and above), Angular Material
  • Familiar with automated testing framework for JavaScript such as Jasmine, Karma JS, or Selenium
  • Experience with SAST & DAST is a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell
  • Experience working with SQL & Oracle DB's, SSIS and SSRS.
  • Experience with Terraform is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge of Microservices a plus

  • Manage vendors who supply outsourced application development resources
  • Oversee the success of all development projects, reporting deliverables to senior leadership in a timely manner
  • Influential mentor to nurture development best practices
  • Evaluate risks and develop plans and actions to mitigate those risks
  • Able to actively solicit, synthesize and deliver timely and meaningful feedback for effective career planning for staff. Able to set clear expectations for team members
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best practices for software development

  • Work closely with the Digital Operations team and business partner to support, enhance, and create custom applications
  • Perform as lead developer in development projects and perform code review

Requirements

  • 2 years of managerial experience or team lead experience
  • 10 years of .net development experience
  • BS in Computer Science or a related degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of .NET Core, C#, and web API with deep understanding of Modern Design Patterns
  • Experience with .NET Framework (ASP.NET, MVC and VB.NET)
  • Comprehensive knowledge on Azure DevOps (CI & CD pipelines configuration using both GUI and YAML)
