IT Governance Analyst
Location: Durham, North Carolina (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Governance Analyst to support our risk management program. This role focuses on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with third-party vendors, suppliers, business partners, and outsourced service providers, with an emphasis on technology, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the identification and assessment of risks associated with third-party entities.
  • Provide support to business owners and project teams to increase awareness and understanding of risks and controls.
  • Assist in the development, assessment, and monitoring of mitigation plans for IT-related risks.
  • Consult on projects and other initiatives to ensure third-party risks are considered and addressed.
  • Assess the effectiveness of vendor control environments through review of audit reports, certifications, and security assessments.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting materials for management and executive leadership.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions to promote a strong culture of third-party risk management.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in a related field will be considered.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related field.
Technical Skills: Experience in third-party risk and ownership of the security compliance process from start to finish. Strong communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe products.
  • Experience using Prevalent.
