Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a ISSO to join the Security and Electronic team. The ISSO will support the design, engineering, integration, operation, and maintenance of electronic security services. There are positions available in Ft. Belvoir and Chantilly, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to support federal customers in an exciting and engaging opportunity. Responsibilities for the ISSO: * Implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across traditional IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
* Supporting Information System Security Engineering efforts alongside cybersecurity engineers and RMF analysts.
* Assisting in the development and validation of documentation required for the DoD RMF assessment and authorization process.
* Conducting ICS/SCADA system inventories in accordance with DoD requirements.
* Performing vulnerability scanning and documenting system vulnerabilities.
* Supporting ISO standardization efforts and participating in quality inspections.
Required Qualifications for the ISSO: * Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph
* 3+ years (Master's), 5+ years (Bachelor's) IT, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management.
* Experience supporting government or commercial cybersecurity efforts in industrial control systems (ICS/OT environments).
* Strong knowledge of DoD RMF lifecycle, NIST 800-53 controls, and supporting documentation (e.g., eMASS, POA&M).
* Hands-on experience with ACAS, HBSS, vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and STIG implementation across systems.
* Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and manage control networks and security components.
* Familiarity with NIST SP 800-82, UFC 4-010-06, DoDIN CCRI/CCORI processes, and CYBERCOM Task Orders.
* One of the following certifications is required: CASP CE, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM, GCED, or GCIH.
