Job description

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security Support Specialist for a position on Kauai, HI. This position will support accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with Koa Lani IT Department. PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO and other Government personnel. Monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc. Responsibilities * Assist in all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. * Supports all ISSO duties and responsibilities in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy. * Supports all activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process and other policies for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption. Physical Elements/ Environment * Lifting, Pushing/Pulling 10 - 25lbs * Work positions requirements: walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, cramped, sitting and work requiring repeated stooping or frequent climbing. * Customer contact, extended workday, confined work area, and office laboratory Minimum Qualifications Experience * Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft applications * Information Technolgy expereince * Ability to learn technical procedures and concepts * Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education * High School or equivalent * Completion of high school courses in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity. Certifications * DoD 8570/8140: IAM I Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a US Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
