Space ISR Subject Matter Expert

LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO

JOB STATUS: Full-time

SALARY: $105,000 - $150,000

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

TRAVEL: Up to 10%

 

 

Astrion is seeking a Space ISR Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

The Space ISR SME will provide advanced protocol and networking analysis, assist with ISR support to USSF acquisitions and space control communities, and provide liaison support to mission partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4 years’ experience Network Analysis
  • 4 years’ experience Intelligence Studies
  • 4 years’ experience in the Linux environment
  • Demonstrated tactical and operational experience in military (Joint or Service) planning and conducting military intelligence activities
  • Previous experience with intelligence support to offensive DOD space or cyber operations
  • Experience in protocol analysis
  • Experience in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Experience in providing Intelligence support to operations
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Graduate of Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) and/or equivalent training
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting in multiple languages to include C, C++, C#, Python, and/or Bash
  • Familiarity with multiple network analytic tools/platforms (e.g. Wireshark, Kali Linux)
  • Strong desire to keep technical skills current and remain abreast of emerging technologies, new versions of existing solutions
  • Familiarity with various SATCOM systems & RF signal protocols, systems and standards
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) principles and experience in supporting EW planning and operations
  • Experience in providing Intelligence support to acquisitions
  • Experience in collaborating with the intelligence community with emphasis on NSA
  • Able to read, write, and interpret complex documents
  • Programming experience
  • Experience in All-Source Intelligence

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Network/protocol analysis in support of multiple developmental efforts
  • Liaison with intelligence communities to provide analysis for developmental efforts
  • Ability to communicate and interact with technical team members on approaches and details to support development within small project teams and coordinate external team interaction
  • Provide SME level support to cyber mission partners and project development
