Key Responsibilities
 
• Design and implement physically and logically isolated Omnissa Horizon environments (through Horizon 8)
• Support the deployment and operation of physically and logically isolated VDI architectures, including dedicated physical thin client hardware.
• Develop automation to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate closely with a team of senior engineers while maintaining strict project confidentiality.
 
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
 
• 3–5 years of applied experience designing, implementing, and providing senior engineering support to delivery teams for Omnissa Horizon — up to and including Horizon 8.
• Familiarity and hands-on knowledge of the full stack of Horizon components, including:
◦ Connection Server
◦ Horizon Agent & Client
◦ Unified Access Gateway (UAG)
◦ Enrollment Server
◦ vCenter Server / vSphere
◦ Cloud Pod Architecture (CPA) for high availability
 
• Automation development skills.
 
• Familiarity with physically and logically isolated VDI architectures.
• Familiarity with dedicated physical thin client gear.
• Ability to work closely with a team of senior engineers.
• English speaking.
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Omnissa Horizon App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM).
• Familiarity with multiple deployment topologies (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).
• Familiarity with Horizon Control Plane services and Image Management Service (IMS).
• Familiarity with multiple Horizon security elements (UAG, authentication, SSO, physical and logical isolation, etc.).
