About the role
You will perform GWO conformity assessments in accordance with WINDA training and qualification. You may perform business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension or withdrawal of certification in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management system standards.
The outcome of your assessments will result in accurate, insightful reports that will be of real worth to our clients.
This position is home based with extensive travel required.
You will:
  • You need to qualify as quality and safety lead auditor and have completed GWO Auditor Qualification Training (AQT) and conducted GWO 3rd party auditing for another certification body including evidence of WINDA auditor registration.
  • Have substantial experience in third party auditing/assessment to integrated management systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, ISO 14001 if qualified) including system level auditing and process level auditing.
  • Be a registered Lead Auditor with IRCA, Exemplar or equivalent accredited body.
  • At least two years' work experience in a role specifically related to managing safety impacts and compliance with law and regulations. The work experience can be gained either in an industrial position, or as a regulator.
  • Have experience with a wide range of industry sectors, with particular exposure to the wind energy sector.
  • Hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) BS Degree in Occupational, Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related subject.
  • Possess a high standard of personal presentation, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a flexible attitude.
  • Can travel extensively throughout the USA.
  • You can physically walk and climb stairs for up to five hours daily as part of field work required by the position.

You will be competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Email) with experience using client work delivery platforms
