What is an ISO assistant?

What does an ISO assistant do?

An ISO Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting information security officers by assisting with the implementation and monitoring of security policies, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 27001. They often collaborate closely with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, maintain documentation, and facilitate training sessions for staff. This role provides valuable exposure to information security practices and is an excellent stepping stone toward more senior security positions. Job seekers should be prepared for a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.
