Position Summary

Kent Island Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees daily housekeeping functions, ensures high standards of cleanliness, and develops a high-performing team aligned with Vivameeโ€™s values.

We are looking for a leader who leads with Joy, operates with Humility, and approaches their work as Ministryโ€”serving both guests and team members with care and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry
  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate a diverse housekeeping team
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of supplies and linens
  • Address guest concerns and resolve service issues with professionalism and care
  • Maintain labor standards, scheduling efficiency, and departmental budgets
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Foster a team culture rooted in respect, accountability, and Vivameeโ€™s core virtues
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of housekeeping experience in hospitality (hotel or resort preferred)
  • 1+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with scheduling, inspections, and inventory control
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and seasonal fluctuations

โœ… Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred.

  • Experience in a resort, boutique, or lifestyle hospitality environment
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) or housekeeping software
  • Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and team development
