What You'll Do

As a Residential HVAC Installation Lead, you'll oversee residential HVAC installation projects from preparation through final startup, ensuring every system is installed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. You'll lead installation crews, coordinate daily job activities, assign work responsibilities, and help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining exceptional workmanship.

You'll install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-split systems, boilers, ventilation systems, ductwork, and indoor air quality equipment in both replacement and new construction applications. You'll interpret blueprints and construction plans, verify equipment placement, oversee system startup and testing, inspect completed work for quality, and ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company expectations.

You'll also communicate with homeowners, builders, project managers, and office staff throughout each project, monitor job profitability through efficient execution, mentor junior installers, maintain organized and safe job sites, and complete accurate project documentation.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced HVAC installation professionals with at least three years of residential installation experience, including both replacement systems and new construction projects. Previous experience leading installation crews or serving as a lead installer is strongly preferred.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, installation best practices, airflow, duct design, refrigeration principles, and applicable building codes. Experience installing boilers, gas heating systems, and oil-fired equipment is highly desirable.

Applicants must hold a valid HVAC license and EPA Certification. The ability to read blueprints, coordinate projects, mentor installers, and maintain high standards of workmanship is essential. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
