Job Description
Perform dental prophylaxis, cleanings, and thorough oral examinations
Assess patientsโ oral health and develop personalized care plans
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including pediatric dentistry
Take and process dental radiographs including bitewing, occlusal, and panoramic X-rays
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA
Implement strict aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols
Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and effective treatment flow
Salary Range
Part-time $60 - $65 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM โ 5:00 PM
Friday to Sunday: Closed
Requirements
Current valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations
Proficiency with dental software, specifically Eaglesoft
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient care best practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
Skilled in dental imaging and infection control procedures
Preferences
Experience in both general and pediatric dentistry settings
Familiarity with medical coding and vital signs monitoring
Previous work experience in a dental office or clinical environment
