Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Nebraska team:

  • Write, develop, organize, and review project studies, reports, and design documents for water resources projects.
  • Provide field services and construction oversight for water resources projects such as dams, levees, streams, and lakes.
  • Be a mentor and develop younger engineers to become effective water resource modelers, designers, planners, and project managers.
  • Engage in public speaking regarding civil engineer water resources projects.

Likely Water Resource projects this role will be involved in are: hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, storm water planning, stream restoration, design of flood reduction and water quality improvements, and watershed-scale plans and studies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field.
  • 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering, preferably in the Midwest.
  • NE Professional Engineer's License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Interest in leading others and pursuing continual growth as a leader.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
