Job Title: Landscape and Irrigation Project Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape and Irrigation Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of landscape and irrigation projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Management:

    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
    • Procure necessary permits, equipment, and materials.
  2. Team Supervision:

    • Lead and supervise landscape and irrigation crews, ensuring effective communication and productivity.
    • Provide on-site training and guidance to crew members as needed.
    • Monitor team performance and address any issues promptly.
  3. Field Operations:

    • Oversee installation and maintenance of landscapes, hardscapes, irrigation systems, and related components.
    • Conduct site visits to ensure work quality and compliance with project plans and safety standards.
    • Identify and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
  4. Budget and Resource Management:

    • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource use.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  5. Client Relations:

    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding project progress, updates, and any adjustments.
    • Address client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Quality Control and Compliance:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in landscape and irrigation project management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape and irrigation design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in landscape or irrigation management (e.g., Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Certified Landscape Professional).
  • Experience with budgeting and cost analysis.
  • Familiarity with sustainable landscaping practices.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform site visits.
