Now Hiring: Contract Dietitian

Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid).
Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor | Part-Time with Opportunity for Full-Time Growth

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Dietitian to join our growing integrative nutrition practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys solving complex nutrition cases, building meaningful relationships with clients, and collaborating with healthcare providers.

This position requires working in our Nashville office 2–3 days per week, with additional telehealth flexibility.

Our clients present with a wide range of nutrition-related conditions, including:

  • Thyroid disorders
  • Hormone and women's health concerns
  • Diabetes and insulin resistance
  • Cardiovascular disease and metabolic health
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Food allergies and sensitivities
  • Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
  • General wellness and disease prevention

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling using an integrative, client-centered approach.
  • Assess clients' medical history, lifestyle, lab work, and nutrition concerns to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Educate and empower clients to make sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential required.
  • Tennessee licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of counseling experience preferred.
  • MS or MPH preferred
  • Experience with medical nutrition therapy for chronic disease management.
  • Strong knowledge of integrative and functional nutrition principles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for compassionate, individualized care.
  • Thrives working independently
  • Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor.

Compensation
