Job description


Apave America Inc. is seeking qualified Thermography IR Level III / II within the Houston area!



Job Description


Operate infrared cameras and related equipment to capture thermal images. Perform routine infrared inspections on electrical, mechanical, and building systems. Identify and report apparent thermal anomalies without interpretation. Follow established inspection procedures and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of inspections and upload data to reporting systems. Assist senior thermographers in data collection and fieldwork.


Required Qualifications

  • IR Thermography Level II or Level III certification from one of the following:
    • ANST Level III (preferred but not required)


  • Demonstrated experience performing industrial or building thermography inspections.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer, emissivity, and thermal measurement accuracy.
  • Ability to identify thermal anomalies and determine root causes.
  • Proficiency in IR reporting software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel if required.
  • Proficiency in performing infrared scans
  • Ability to analyze data


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to carry inspection equipment (up to 30-40 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, around high-voltage equipment, or elevated areas (where applicable).
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in predictive maintenance programs.
  • Preferred ANST Level III (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, or building diagnostics.
  • Previous work in oil & gas, power generation, manufacturing, or commercial building environments.
