The Village Voice street team is an extension of the Marketing Department and is a chance to join an outgoing and motivated team who help to promote the Village Voice and our partners at various events throughout New York City.
Job Description
We're looking for energetic, outgoing people to go to top events in NYC and promote The Village Voice. This position is perfect for students interested in gaining experience in marketing and events. You will be out and about at concerts, film screenings, foodie events, festivals and more.
Qualifications
Your skills include:
- a strong, independent drive
- confidence in talking to large groups of people about The Village Voice's initiatives
- using an iPad and other tech-savvy tools
- friendly, outgoing demeanor
- ability to carry 25lbs
- a passion for art, culture and/or nightlife
- some experience in promotions and/or street marketing programs
